Architectural Bi-Fold Doors

First impressions are everything, whether they come from a customer approaching your storefront, friends walking up to your home or a potential client stepping through your office, what they see first sets the stage for their whole experience.

Midland’s Architectural Bi-Fold Doors make a memorable statement with customized, high-quality features. The doors are just as durable and well-made as our agriculture, airplane hangar and commercial doors, but offer a distinctive design limited only by your imagination. And we back it up with our signature 3-year warranty.

Weather Seals & Stainless Hardware

The perimeter and center of the door is sealed off with foam weather strip to allow for a tight seal. The frame of the door compresses against the weather strip on the jambs and header to allow for an extremely tight seal compared to other types of doors. Stainless steel lock components and fastening hardware is standard.

Architectural bi-fold door operating system

Operating System

The operating system is mounted and concealed in the door’s headers while the lifting mechanisms are hidden behind the door’s uprights, resulting in clean lines and enhanced headroom.

Designer door single latch

Jamb Lock

Over-center cam locks tightly to secure the door frame against the jamb. Each cam lock is equipped with a safety interlock switch to prevent operation of the door until the locks are disengaged.

Architectural hydraulic & bi-fold door colors

Custom Painting

Door frames are primed with a two-part polyurethane primer and can be field painted or factory painted with a two-part polyurethane enamel to match any RAL or Sherwin Williams color. Powder coating is available on request. Size of door frame may limit availability.

Architectural bi-fold facade

Aluminum and Glass Façade

Aluminum curtainwall system with insulated tempered glass can be applied to the face of the door frame, creating a seamless look with the rest of the building’s facade.
